Up the Shakers - a second year in League 1. The school is delighted that Efe Sodje - role model for a healthy lifestyle, fair play and team spirit - continues to be a Millwood school governor.

Congratulations to Efe on the birth of his son (1 November 2012) 

21 July 2011 - Efe accepting the Promotion Picture from all the pupils at Millwood now on view in the Legends Sports Bar at Gigg Lane.

The children in class 9 visited Gigg Lane

Efe Sodje is a school govenor at Millwood and came to work with the children for the afternoon.

 

Millwood School has featured on a Sky Sports programme on 25 March 2011, and in a BBC documentary about Efe's charity work in Nigeria.

Bury FC Community Trust work with Millwood pupils every lunchtime supporting play and sports activities.

June 2011 - discussions begun with Dave Gifford, Forever Bury, about a Junior Shakers branch at Millwood.

4 July - Bury FC Community Trust bring Air Track to school for the day and continue with after-school club

2 July 2012 - Olympic Fun Day at Millwood
